We collect information about victims of crime who contact us to share feedback, enquire about their treatment in the justice system, or make a complaint. For example, we retain copies of correspondence and minutes of meetings. This will include some personal information such as names, contact details and information related to your experience. We store this information in a customer relationship management database called Dynamics 365. This is to help us to keep your data secure, communicate more efficiently with stakeholders and report on this work.
If you choose not to provide this information, the Commissioner may be limited in what they can do in response to your complaint.
We will not disclose your personal information without your consent, except where required to do so by law.
Our use of Dynamics 365 is governed by our Privacy Policy. For more information, or to request access to any of your personal information in Dynamics 365, contact enquiries@vocc.vic.gov.au.
